Our Ministries

Eucharistic Minister

Ministers Distribute Holy Communion & The Blood of Christ To God's People In Mass & Those Homebound On Occasions Where There Are An Insufficient Number Of Priests/Deacons.


Sacristan

The Sacristan Sets Up & Takes Down For The Mass As Well As Helps During The Mass If Needed. 


Lector

Instituted To Proclaim The Readings From The Sacred Scripture, With The Exception Of The Gospel. They May Also Announce The Intentions For The Universal Prayer &, In The Absence Of The Psalmist, Recite The Psalm Between Readings As Well As The Announcements.


Altar Server

Servers Should Be Mature Enough To Understand Their Responsibilities & To Carry Them Out With Appropriate Reverences.

Servers Carry The Incense & Boat, Processional Cross & Candles, Hold The Book For The Priest/Celebrant When He Is Not At The Altar, Assist The Priest/Celebrant When He Receives The Gifts From The People, Present The Bread, Wine & Water To The Priest/Celebrant During The Preparation Of The Gifts, Wash The Hands Of The Priest/Celebrant & Assist The Priest/Celebrant/Deacon As Necessary.


Parish Choir

The Choir Enhances The Songs Of The Mass By Adding Harmonization & Descants That Enrich The Melody Line Sung By The Rest Of The Assembly. The Choir Also Engages In The Sung Dialogues Of The Mass With The Cantor And/Or The Rest Of The Assembly.


Usher/Greeter

Ushers Should Be The First People You Meet When You Arrive To Church. The Usher Has The Opportunity & Responsibility To Represent The Rest Of The Congregation In Offering Hospitality. They Are Also The Collectors For The Collections During Mass.


Offertory Counters

Meet Once A Week To Count Weekend Mass Collections.


Liturgical Linens Service

Take Care Of Washing & Ironing Liturgical Linens.
